| Salisbury Cathedral A beautiful cathedral with one of the world's highest spires. The accoustics are superb and we would highly recommend a visit. |
| Stonehenge What can be said about this that the stones don't already say themselves? |
| Avebury Stone Circle In our opinion, Avebury has more to offer than Stonehenge. Here one can actually walk amongst the stones and visit the village itself. |
| Silbury Hill Silbury Hill, near Avebury, is the largest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe. It was created around 2660 BC and stands 130 feet high, but its purpose is unknown. Despite centuries of study and excavation, it remains one of the most enigmatic of British prehistoric sites. |

| Devizes Town The nearest town is Devizes, a lovely little market town with a lively beating heart. Be sure to visit the Jazz Bar on a Friday night, under the Bear hotel. Market day is Thursday, and is full of fantastic local fayre. Or why not hire a canal boat and take a leisurely trip to Bradford-on-avon for example? In addition, the Wharf Theatre is a wonderful fringe theatre, producing some of the best dramatics in the area. Do ask Jason or Charlotte for details of current performances. |
